Some of our key contributors to this year’s festival will be Sharon Taylor live from Canada from Triton Digital, Fyona Smith that Head of AFTRS Radio, Melanie Sargeant from Newcastle Podcast Station.

We’ll have accessibility sessions that allow you to learn from those that are podcasting and at the top of their game and they’ll be able to give you valuable insights into everything they’ve done to make their podcasts stand out, to build their podcast profiles, to allow their content to shine and to innovate as technology moves rapidly in the new media space.

Newcastle Podcast Festival promotes diversity of voices and content through its program with includes talent from first nation’s podcasters as well as people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered. Our programming showcases their work to a wider community and  promotes respect and tolerance so that they can fully participate in all aspects of life in Australia without fear of discrimination.
